Pak Suzuki Motors, a leading Pakistani automobile company, has announced the commencement of car exports to Afghanistan and Bangladesh. This initiative, launched in collaboration with the Special Investment Board of Pakistan, aims to enhance the quality and competitiveness of locally manufactured vehicles in international markets. Hiroshi Kawanura, CEO of Pak Suzuki Motors, shared this development during an interview on Samaa TV Pakistan on Saturday, August 3rd.
Rana Tanveer Hussain, Pakistan’s Minister for Industries and Production, emphasized the strategic objectives behind exporting cars to these neighboring countries. He highlighted the goals of increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and expanding the production base and consumer market for Pak Suzuki Motors. The minister also praised the company’s achievements, noting that it has produced 2.5 million cars in Pakistan since its establishment in 1982 by a Japanese automobile manufacturer. As one of Pakistan’s largest automotive parts assembly companies, Pak Suzuki Motors is pivotal in the nation’s industrial landscape.
The company has also announced plans to develop hybrid cars, focusing on environmental conservation and reducing fuel consumption in Pakistan. This move reflects Pak Suzuki Motors’ commitment to innovation and sustainable practices.
