The Deputy Governor of Nangarhar province, with a delegation, visited Omari Torkham camp in Nangarhar to assess the damages caused by recent natural disasters and ongoing conflicts.
The visit aimed to evaluate the damages caused by recent rains and flooding and to identify immediate needs for relief and rehabilitation.
Cash assistance was provided to 27 injured persons.
During the tour, the Deputy Governor met with local officials, community leaders, and affected residents. He emphasized the provincial administration’s commitment to providing timely assistance and coordinating with national and international aid organizations for comprehensive support.
The delegation inspected the damaged areas and assured those affected that their needs and proposals for comprehensive reconstruction would be communicated to the central authorities for prompt action.
