More than Fifty thousand domestic tourists explore tourism spots in Kunar province in eastern Afghanistan during the recent Eid vacations.
Officials from Kunar’s Directorate of Information and Culture said that they had set up special committees to welcome tourists, ensuring they could comfortably visit the province’s attractions.
Jannat Gul Fida, the head of information at Kunar’s directorate of information and culture, said: “So far, nearly fifty thousand tourists have come to Kunar and enjoyed its valleys, mountains, and waterfalls.”
Several domestic tourists praised the natural beauty of Kunar and expressed happiness over the overall security in the country.
Tourists have suggested improvement of roads and electrification in the tourist spots for the promotion of tourism.
