The Chitral Football League, one of Pakistan’s most prominent football competitions, concluded its fourth season with Afghan TV triumphing over Bacha Khan FC Loralai Balochistan in a 4-2 victory. The match, which took place in the scenic northern region of Chitral, showcased the skill and passion of players from across Pakistan.
Supported by the Chitral Scouts and the District Administration of Chitral, the event is organized annually by Ideal Club and Acciva Services, drawing in teams from Balochistan, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan, among others. This year, 13 teams and over 300 players competed in the prestigious league, which has gained national attention under the slogan “Pakistan Zindabad Chitral Football League.”
The final match between Afghan TV and Bacha Khan FC Loralai Balochistan saw Afghan TV dominate, with Hamad Mashwani leading the charge by scoring two critical goals. His performance earned him the title of ‘Man of the Match.’
Dignitaries including Deputy Commissioner Chitral, Muhsin Iqbal, and Commanding Officer of the 146 Chitral Scouts, Lt. Col. Waqas Ahmed, and other civil and military officers presided over the ceremony, distributing trophies and awards to the players.
The Chitral Football League continues to grow as a beacon of unity and sportsmanship in Pakistan, offering young athletes a platform to shine on a national stage while celebrating the spirit of competition.
