Three children tragically lost their lives, while 10 others were injured in two separate incidents in the Kunar province, officials reported.
According to Maulvi Najibullah Hanif, Kunar’s Director of Information and Culture, eight individuals, including children, mysteriously fainted in the residence of a man named Muhammadullah in the Gambir area of Watapur district on the previous night. Sadly, three children succumbed, while five other individuals are currently receiving medical care at Nangarhar Zonal Hospital. The cause of the incident remains undetermined, with an investigation underway.
In a separate event in Chapa Dara district, four members of a family sustained injuries after the roof of their home, owned by Mir Sahib Jan, collapsed in Negad village during the night. The injured are also receiving treatment, authorities confirmed.
