The Ministry of Information and Culture of Afghanistan held a high-level meeting in Kabul with a delegation from China’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism to enhance bilateral cultural and historical cooperation.
Mawlawi Atiqullah Azizi, Deputy Minister of Culture and Art of Afghanistan, and Mr. Li Qun, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of China, led their respective teams. Discussions centered on cooperation in cultural, scientific, and historical fields.
China pledged support in preserving and restoring Afghanistan’s historical monuments and sites, as well as enhancing the ministry’s staff capacity. The Chinese delegation, invited by Afghanistan’s Ministry of Information and Culture, visited the National Museum of Afghanistan and plans to tour other historical sites, including Mes Aynak.
