The ruling Taliban of Afghanistan have said that they were going to strengthen their ties with India. Islamic Emirate Afghanistan, Taliban used to name their government setup, wants to expand and strengthen its political and economic ties with India, says Hamdullah Fitrat, the deputy spokesman of Taliban government.
It is a major political to Pakistan, the neighboring country.
Few days back, Indian FM S Jaishankar, expressed that India was committed to continue assisting Afghan government and people in various sectors.
