The Afghan government has completed the construction of a rest house to facilitate travelers at Ghulam Khan Bandar in the Garbzo district of Khost. According to the officials, this newly constructed building was constructed to facilitate commuters who travel from and to Afghanistan via the Ghulam Khan border. Passengers and traders will have access to facilities at this rest house, says a government official.
The building, consisting of two floors, features eight rooms along with a solar power system and other necessary amenities. The construction was completed for 18 million Afghanis.
IEA officials inaugurated the facility on Friday and make it operational for public use.
