The Embassy of Afghanistan in Islamabad commemorated the Victory Day of (Taliban in Afghanistan) with a notable ceremony, bringing together a diverse assembly of dignitaries. Among the attendees were Pakistan’s Federal Minister, Mr. Riyaz Hussain Pirzada, Special Representative for Afghanistan Asif Durrani, and Chairman of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, Maulana Fazlur Rehman. Other prominent figures included Member of Parliament and Chairman of PKMAP Mahmood Khan Achakzai, former Jamaat-e-Islami leader Siraj-ul-Haq, former Minister and People’s Party member Safran, Senator Talha Mehmood, and Allama Raja Abbas Jafari, Chairman of the Muslim Unity Party.
In addition to numerous Pakistani officials, political party representatives, prominent journalists, academics from universities and religious institutions, and esteemed scholars, the event also welcomed deputy ambassadors and diplomats from countries such as Russia, China, Iraq, Iran, Uzbekistan, Qatar, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sudan, Yemen, Kyrgyzstan, and many others.
The gathering underscored the diplomatic ties and solidarity shared by Afghanistan and its international allies, offering a moment of reflection on shared victories and cooperation.
