Afghan Minister of Defence, Mawlawi Muhammad Yaqoob “Mujahid,” along with senior military officials, paid a visit to villages along the Pak-Afghan border at the Durand Line.
During the visit, the Minister and his delegation conducted inspections of newly constructed military posts and a bridge in the region. Mawlawi Yaqoob provided vital instructions to the troops stationed there, emphasizing the importance of protecting the nation’s borders and maintaining Afghanistan’s territorial integrity.
The Defence Minister also assured that comprehensive resources and supplies would be allocated to the area, with plans to establish additional posts to strengthen the security infrastructure.
Local tribal leaders expressed their gratitude to Mawlawi Muhammad Yaqoob Mujahid and the military officials for their ongoing support and prompt response to community needs, reaffirming their appreciation for the government’s efforts in safeguarding the region.
