Russia is keen in maintaining active dialogue with the Taliban led Islami Emirate of Afghanistan. The spokesperson of Kremlin Dmitry Peskov said that in order to resolve pressing issues Russia maintains active relations with Afghanistan.
In one way or another, we maintain communication with them with our neighboring country as we have to resolve pressing issues, which also requires dialogue. Like every one else, we are also in contact with Afghan government keeping in view our own national interest and priorities. It is fact that at the movement Islami Emirate is the one in power in our neighboring country, Peskov said.
