Faryab, Afghanistan – The National Development Company has reported significant progress in the second phase of the Ghosh Tipeh Channel project, with 58 percent of the work now completed. Seyyed Zabihollah Miri, the project manager, announced that 130 kilometers of the channel have been constructed in the Andkhavi district of Faryab province.
Mr. Miri highlighted the substantial workforce and machinery involved in the project, noting that over 3,000 workers and 3,000 machines are currently engaged in this phase.
Experts have underscored the importance of the Ghosh Tipeh channel for Afghanistan’s water management, emphasizing the necessity of maintaining high-quality standards throughout the construction process.
The National Development Company aims to complete the second phase by the end of the solar year, with a budget allocation of 20 billion Afghanis. The project is expected to reach its final point in the Andkhavi district of Faryab, marking a significant milestone in the region’s development.
