KABUL: Iran Air has started its flight operations for Afghanistan. The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation in Afghanistan said that it was a significant development as the international airline ‘Iran Air’ has started flights to Kabul for the first time.
At the initial stages Iran Air will operate one flight per week. There were flight operations of many other airlines like Ariana, Kam Air, Mahan, Kish, and Yazd between the two countries, a statement of the ministry said.
Ministry of transport and Civil Aviation continued to say “after the resumption of power by the Islamic Emirate, significant achievements and developments have been made in various fields as several international airlines started flights to the country.
Turkish airline had also resumed flight operations for Afghanistan few days back.
