KABUL: At least 11 people lost their lives and four others sustained injuries in a fatal traffic accident on Wednesday in the north Afghanistan’s province of Faryab.
Local officials said that a wedding party vehicle veered off the road and collided with a wall of residential house in Maimana, the capital of Faryab province.
Officials have confirmed that the accident resulted in 11 fatalities and four injuries.
Traffic department officials said the victims were all members of the same family returning home from a wedding celebration.
The deceased included six women, four children, and a 16-year-old boy who was driving the vehicle.
