Afghan Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund inaugurated three projects of Kabul Municipality worth about $41.49 million.
The projects included the second phase of Khairkhane Kotal Road, the first part of the road extending from Shahid Crossroads to Kasbah and from the Airport Crossroads to the Customs House.
Talking on this occasion, the IEA leader and Deputy Prime Minister said that the government was making all its efforts for the development of the country. He appreciated Kabul municipality for its endeavors to make the city clean and beautiful. He added that Kabul the city has become more beautiful and well-managed than before.
The economic deputy of the Prime Minister recommended the officials of Kabul Municipality to complete these projects on time and with good quality. The second lot of Khairkhane Kotal Road has a length of 2520 meters and a width of 60 meters. The project of the first part of the road from Shahid Fourlar to Kasbah has a length of 1890 meters and a width of 45 meters.
