In a small town of Rabat Sangi of Herat in Afghanistan, Ahmad Agha enjoys an extraordinary life with three wives and 46 children. His household is an active hub where love, responsibility, and challenges meet in unique ways.
Agha looking to have another wife to strengthen and expand his family further. His family is a combination of cultures and backgrounds bonded with traditions and values. Despite the size of his family, Agha strives to provide for each member and satisfy their needs. On Eid, I have to spend 50,000 Afghani for clothing. My family is everything for me, it is my strength, my power, my joy, Agha says. He accepts managing a household of this size comes with its challenges but he has trust in God. Despite household challenges including the financial hurdles, Agha remains committed to expanding his family further, with plans to marry a fourth wife.
