The current Afghan government led by the Taliban has termed the Iranian response to Israel as justified. In a meeting with Iran’s Deputy Ambassador in Kabul, the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, Mawlavi Abdul Kabir termed Iran’s attack on Israel as an appropriate way of self-defense.
According to media reports, Iranian diplomat regarded the IEA’s stance on this international issue. He called for the expansion of relations between Kabul and Tehran.
Iran Deputy Ambassador Mortezaei said that Tehran advocates for the continuation of positive relations between Afghanistan and its neighbors and strives to facilitate the Islamic Emirate’s positive interaction with regional countries
